What is recycled sourced gold?
Recycled gold is gold that has been recycled back via a traceable process at the bullion refinery. The feed material for recycled gold comes in the form of scrap, from market sectors such as the jewellery, giftware, medical and electronics industries. At the refinery, it is purified and then resold into the jewellery industry.
Garnets
Garnet gemstones have been around since the bronze-age. Garnets can be found in a variety of different colours, depending on their natural chemical composition.
Today it is known as the birthstone for January, but more uncommonly associated as a gemstone that celebrates the 2nd anniversary of marriage. The gemstone derives its name from the Latin word “Garanatus,” meaning “seedlike,” referring to a pomegranate, as small garnets look like the bright red seeds you find inside in a pomegranate.
