Cognac Diamond Silver Ring
This stunning, mercury-free silver ring features ten cognac diamonds from Ocean Diamonds, each flush-set to accentuate its unique design. Hand-carved in wax and meticulously cast in mercury-free silver, the ring offers a seamless blend of artistry and ethical craftsmanship. With a wide band that elegantly tapers into a refined edge at the top, this ring is shaped for a comfortable fit between the fingers, ensuring both style and comfort.
This ring is part of the Reciprocity Exhibition, held during New York Jewelry Week, which showcases the talents of 15 jewellers from around the world, including Saskia Shutt. This international exhibition highlights the creativity and skill of each participating artist, offering a unique platform for contemporary jewellery design.
Carving Process
Firstly, the ring design is drawn onto a block of wax. Then, the shape is hand-carved out of the block. Once the knife-edge design is achieved, the wax model is cast into silver.
