The international Arts Crafts Design Awards are upon us again
Exciting news received today! Saskia Shutt Designs has been nominated by the International Arts Crafts Design Awards 2015. For the second consecutive year, her talent has been recognised by the AC&D Awards. They have invited Saskia to submit 3 pieces of jewellery, to partake in the awards. Her jewellery can be viewed here in the lefthand column or on the AC&D Awards website.
It is an honour and a pleasure to be selected for this award. To be placed among a handful of fellow, highly skilled, craftsmen-designers from around the world. Each designer and craftsman, have equally earned their place to compete in the AC&D Awards. They have all been selected on their craftsmanship, design and skills. The Arts Crafts Design Award is an international, annual competition for all nominated artisans, craftspeople and designers. The primary aim is to honour and support the best ideas and concepts and recognize its excellent realization. The award is not divided into different disciplines, but it covers all art-craft ideas and concepts.
At the end of the year, the jury will select the prize winners to assign to them the “Arts Crafts Design Award” which will be announced on 15th January 2016 on this website. All Nominees and winners will be informed about the jury’s choice by email. The Competition is exclusively held on the web. The jury will be making their selections from among the 265 entries from 37 nations, within more than 10 different applied arts disciplines.
