The pendant
Ginkgo leaf pendant… A Ginko leaf is a beautifully simple form, it is, therefore, the inspiration for this pendant. The ginkgo shape is transferred and sawn out of 1mm thick silver sheet. The leaf is approximately 3.5cm by 3.5cm and fits in the palm of your hand. Furthermore, fine lines are hand-drawn onto the front surface of the ginkgo leaf, it looks more authentic as a result. If you prefer the lines to be blacked, for more effect, please state this when ordering your Ginkgo leaf pendant.
The Ginkgo Leaf Chain
The ginkgo leaf pendant hangs from a16 inch (41,5cm) silver snake chain. In addition to the design of the pendant, the catch is also individually made. Handmade in silver especially for the pendant and innate to my jewellery. A dome and ring fit neatly into each other, hence closing the catch is simple.
Ginkgo Biloba
A most noteworthy fact about the Ginkgo Biloba tree is that fossils have been found dating back 270 million years. The Gingko Biloba or Maidenhair comes from a very ancient plant lineage.
